Vision Statement:

First Christian Church, Fulton is alive with a Christian ministry for all that strives to keep God as our center and Jesus Christ as our Savior and guide.

Mission Statement:

First Christian Church, Fulton is to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ and to act as an active, loving, compassionate community to all people.  The congregation will attain this vision through: enhancing worship and preaching, aggressive world, community and individual outreach, lifelong Christian education, local community involvement, evangelism, and building upon successes.

What We Believe:

…there is one God and Creator—sustainer and director of the universe, who loves us and saves us through Jesus Christ, His son.

…in the dignity of humanity, and in the divine calling to be children of God.

…that God through Jesus Christ is able to save all who turn to Him in faith and fully obey His gospel.

…in no official creed or theology except the confession— “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”.

…that the New Testament name for followers of Christ is “Christian” and for the church is simply “Christian Churches.”

…only in the New Testament ordinances of:

a. Baptism by immersion.

b. The Lords’ Supper (Communion)—observed weekly and all believers in Christ are invited to participate.

First Christian Church recognizes all forms of baptism and confirmation as valid.  The church accepts into membership all who confess Jesus Christ as Savior, and have been duly baptized and confirmed in Christian faith.
